The Nation : Loxley GTech Technology Co Ltd (LGT) announced Monday that it might file a lawsuit against the government if the online lottery project is scraped.
LGT is a 51:49 joint venture between the US-base GTech Corporation and Loxley Plc respectively.
"We are considering matters of law and value of damages if the government cancel the contract agreement for installing online lottery machines," said LGT chief executive officer Trijak Tansupasiri.
He added the company has invested more than Bt3 billion in installing around 5,000 electronic lottery vending machines.
LGT signed an agreement with Government Lottery Office (GLO) for providing online lottery project on July 29, 2005.
